My little boy kitty Jade is sick. We took him to the vet and got some tests done because he has been throwing up a lot. The vet brought in an x-ray and showed us a typical cat's chest and Jade's. Jade has a large mass in his chest that is pushing on his esophagus, which makes it hard for him to breathe. We got some asthma meds to help him

Oh, no. I sincerely hope all goes well for you and your kittie. If I were in your situation, I would be crying and puking simultaneously, nonstop. :/

Are the masses at all cancerous?
