happy um easter? what do bunnies have anything to do with easter again? i thought it was more a religious event.. not marshmallow filled. but whatever

I wish i could remember the exact country, but I think the whole bunny thing began when christian beliefs were being infused with other local beliefs in order to get people to convert more readily. The rabbit was some sort of tradition that came from the middle east...or maybe it was egypt....but long story short it caught on and grew to be synonymous with Easter.

I'm going to look that up now for my own curiosity.

and everyone should go and eat copious amounts of Peeps. Marshmellowy goodness.
