"yeah, growing up, doesnt involve rambling about politics and other world issues for 45 minutes on end."

I would have to disagree. That is what the problem is with society today. We should care, but we don't. People do not listen to the IMPORTANT things anymore. Yes, there should be fun involved. But being completely illiterate to what governs our lives and will have a direct effect upon our futures is not a good thing. Ignorance is not, in fact, bliss.

I can see your point, but at the same time i disagree. Maybe we are growing up and doing the "adult things" way to soon. Theres no time to enjoy childhood if your constantly worring about things you cant do a damn thing about until you turn 18 anyways. Plus listening to someone day in and day out ramble on about politics is so tiring and pointless. I wonder if this person is the kind who just talks and talks and talks but never actually does anything worthwhile.

Al work and no play certainly does make Jack a dull boy -

However, all play and no work makes Jack an idiot, too. Yes, he never actually does anything workthwhile, and he repeats himself a lot. However, on the occasion that I have attempted to have a thoughtful discussion with... well, anyone, I almost always end up getting a SHUT THE FUCK UP NO ONE CARES. And I mean, aside from the point that Will talks a lot, repeats himself a lot, and is faking most of the stuff he "knows", he brings up smome good points every now and then. I would have to say Joe's entry is exaggerating though, and I do hope I am xorrect in the assumption he is referring to Will - however, what I really am getting to is that even when slapped in the face with world issues, politics, and stuff like that, people refuse to listen and dismiss it as "stupid" or "dumb" and go on with their daily lives even though politics have directly effected us since the day we were born.

I guess I just find the lack of interest, and the lack of people who actually listen , ( ... )

I think the point is that Rambling for 45 minutes about politics doesnt make you a grown up. just because you talk about adult things, doesnt mean your an adult. Atleast thats what i got from it.

i mean lets face it, If you say, go to harvard, work to become the president of the united states, then rush blindly into a war, while lying to the public, doesnt make you an adult. i guess what i mean is Knowledge is one thing, Maturity and experience is another. Anybody can read a book, but it takes experience to formulate and write it.

does that even make sense?

eh, fuck it.

i think erin is like the only person who listens...besides maybe steve and me when im not thinking about pussy.

-god is too busy whispering in wyatts ear.
-joe is pissed off that will wont shut the fuck up and he is thinking death threats.
-danny just wants to bone natasha and get on with life and just be a "normal dorky kid"
-trevor wants to be accepted with the cool emo kids so he only sits with us when their table is full.
-charlie listens but he is so pissed off at will for taking his soda and he repeats shit so much.

i know, i see it, i say it with truth.

if will had nobody to make fun of, he would kill himself.
