It's just an icon. People can snag any icon they want from me without saying a word, and I could care less. JMO. It's the internet, wild and woolly and it should be mostly free.

Besides, taking screen captures, images off other websites, etc. to make the icon in the first place is "taking this without permission". Do people making Matrix icons, LoTR icons, Star Trek icons, etc. ask the copyright holders for permission first? I think not.

Actually, that's a good point JM.

Even detailed video like ones like this icon are from someone else's copyrighted footage.
