Mage was some opus, I must say. Unfortunately, I feel similarly about the GURPS game I ran; it seems to strange to think that my storytelling may have peaked with the first game I ran. It's odd to me that watching a bizarre futuristic movie with Brent by the director of Ghost in the Shell but filmed in Polish, and standing around in a Japanese arcade, would give me the inspiration for a game set in WWII-era London. I recall returning to my room one evening and scribbling out the first document for the Mage game - the effects of obtaining the Key.

Perhaps that's a part of it, that I'm no longer surrounded by easily accessible surreality. There is something to be said for seeking patterns in chaos.
