Dude, March is passing us by. What's up with you? I'm supposed to come ask you about your work because my boy is all "maybe I want to get into software." So here I am. I took the liberty of reading previous posts and saw that you can't talk about your work outside of "software." Bah.

I think the main question my boy had was about day-to-day redundancy. He doesn't want repetitiveness in a job, and thought software might be surprising day-to-day if only in a "I didn't realize I could fuck up that way" manner. Feedback welcome. :) I realize I'm shooting in the dark here, but I figured it'd be better to ask an actual person initially.

On a related-to-post note: That sounds like a pretty bad day. I hope the whiplash got better and that Australia thanked you for your help.

That was a terrible day, and an overall bad week. The weeks that follow allow me to tell you that the duties of a software engineer may, from a day-to-day perspective, be exceedingly diverse.

Australia was appreciative.

I should get around to posting again.

Bee Tee Dub - I sent an email to the last email address I had for you. I assume you still use it?
