Hey Lex... isn't it weird when your friends start getting engaged? Even weirder when that's how it happened. And don't worry... you will get married - some guy will propose to you and you'll tell him to make you some cookies and he will and then you will fall madly in love with him - head over heels in fact and then cookies will be a theme of your relationship and instead of having a wedding cake you will have a wedding cookie. hahaha. See, don't you miss me?

Anyways, that sucks about home being weird. I'm having a hard time unpacking and repacking all of my stuff. It's just a little overwhelming. Hope things get better!

1) you ARE married. or at least WERE.

2) I understand about the weirdness of the whole marriage thing. In the past 2 years about 5 of my friends have gotten married and 1 married. I've been a bridesmaid twice and am godmother to a friend's baby who is now 4 years old. It is really odd to see all your friends "growing up" or doing that typical "adult" thing of getting married while you're still in school, not thinking of marriage as something you're going to do anytime soon. However, I am absolutely sure that if you ever want to get married there will be a guy wanting to marry you because honestly, with your social problems who wouldn't want to be around that all the time. :)

I think that the described proposal is better than the drunken proposal that was described to me regarding someone with whom I graduated. These two people have known each other for a bit over a year, and just got married last weekend.
