okay, well i got bugged by this too, so I asked my sister. Here's how the conversation basically went (i left out some not so important stuff, other than that its exact):
ME: why does bathwater turn cold after it sits awhile, and a glass of water turns warm?
Carrie: it changes to room temperature
Carrie: the glass of water affects the temperature of the room, however it is so slight it is not noticeable and probably completely negligible
Carrie: and hot bath water is the same way
ME: oh
Carrie: anyway the point is that each will be the same temperature as the other

everything just stabilizes to room temperature.
bath water is obviously a lot hotter than room temp and a glass of water you drink is much colder.

More air gets to bath water, because it has a larger surface area, turning it cold faster. A glass of water only turns warm to you because you it was colder before.
