Yukito's Wikipedia Article,
Yue's Wikipedia Article.
Note: Yukito and Yue's relationship to one another is that of two entities in the same body. Yukito was originally created to provide a cover for Yue as he waited for Sakura to collect all of the Clow Cards, but as time passed Yukito (unaware of his existence as Yue) gained a unique personality, completely independent of Yue's. Therefore, while Yukito and Yue are the same entity at their essence they are still otherwise different enough that they should be treated as two different people, and even communicate with each other as such. Until their chip is removed, Yue and Yukito will be stuck in Yukito's form regardless of who is controlling their body.
What your character can offer: Though a remarkably average teenager physically, Yukito has still got his share of semi-impressive traits. He's physically fit and very athletically skilled; he possesses the reflexes, strength, speed, and instincts necessary to frequently beat varsity players at their own game, even if he's far from super-human. He is a skilled archer as well and benefits from the focus and strength necessary to compete. However, his use in combat is extremely limited; though skilled in a number of areas he's somewhat clumsy and lacks the mindset necessary to make it easy or natural for him to fight efficiently. Both Yukito and Yue are intelligent and good at solving word-games, and are capable of thinking quickly on their feet as well.
Yue, on the other hand, is a force to be reckoned with. He was created to serve as the Guardian for Clow Reed (and later, his successor) and has thus been imbued with a veritable laundry list of skills. Feathered wings give him the power of flight and his speed, stamina, agility, and reflexes are all above human levels, but he truly shines when it comes to the use of magic: he's able to form ice, water, and wind into an assortment of forms and use them as weapons, create shields to block attacks both physical and magical in nature, and summon up energy arrows in order to attack. He is capable of turning the power of Moon-aligned Clow and Sakura Cards against the user (though this become extremely difficult, if not outright impossible, if the user in question is Clow or Sakura, respectively) His power waxes and wanes with the moon and his strength and ability to survive are both dependent on the power of his current master.
What items will they be bringing with them?
Yukito will be arriving with jeans, a pair of brown bicycle shoes, socks, a grey t-shirt, a blue jacket, and his eyeglasses. Yue will not be able to access his form unless their chip is removed, but once they can Yue will have his own set of clothing. Any weapons Yue uses will be temporary only, created from his own energy, so he won't be bringing any weapons with him.
Third-Person Sample: Yue had taken over as soon as they arrived, and he wasn't about to hear any complaints about how Yukito should be in charge -- though fortunately, Yukito knew better than to question it, despite being just as tense and worried as Yue himself was. Upon Yue's takeover the two of them had not assumed Yue's form, instead remaining in Yukito's, and that left the both of them anxious and wary. The fact that Yue couldn't draw so much as a sliver of ice or the faintest stirrings of the wind out of the air around him only upset the guardian further, and left him snarling and cursing the strangeness of the world and the new moon he was certain was crippling him (all of this coming from Yukito's, which he distantly realized would just be odd to any outside observers).
The quiet of the wrecked town could have been nice, of course, but instead it was deeply unsettling. This was a city; run down or not, there were supposed to be people and enough noise to give you a headache, and the complete lack of both did nothing but make Yue annoyed and uneasy. When he stumbled again he growled quietly under his breath, though just a moment later he sighed quietly. Yukito was a shy ball of unhappiness in the back of Yue's head, and every time the Guardian tripped due to the unfamiliar body there came an apology from the much younger of the two.
It's not your fault, Yue reminded Yukito, and then he directed his attention back out towards the rain-soaked street. Where could he find another living soul in this place...? A living soul that was not one of those... creatures that had chased them earlier. That had been a situation where Yue was more than willing to let Yukito take over and send the two of them fleeing for safety, and he had no desire to deal with one again.
First-Person Sample (Yukito): (OOC: This ended up being written as a voice post. :x Hope that's alright!) Hello...? I hope this is working.... Ah, hi! My name is Yukito. There was a note on this thing that told me to use this. I hope it's working right. Um, I think other people are supposed to be able to hear this. If you can, could you please let me know? Especially if you're from Tomoeda. I was at school just a few minutes ago, but this can't be anywhere near where the city is. The street signs are all different, there's no one here, and everything is... broken.
Touya, did you end up here too? You're the last person I remember seeing; we were walking back to your house after soccer practice was canceled because of the storm. I didn't fall asleep again, did I? It shouldn't be-- [sudden pause; Yukito is speaking very quietly when he resumes] ... u-um, I should go. I hear something outside. I'm not-- I should be quiet. I hope it's not-- [click]
First-Person Sample (Yue): Whatever brought us here has an unpleasant sense of humor. Sakura wouldn't do something like this without warning anyone, first. And she wouldn't be so careless as to even attempt... this, whatever it is, without having Keroberos and I nearby. Navigating around is too difficult, as well. The street signs are written in English and something else -- Latin or Greek, I think, though I can't be sure -- but the layout of the town is unfamiliar. The whole place is in enough of a mess that I don't think the signs can be trusted in any case, and the things here....
I don't know anyone with the mindset to create such things on purpose, and those that could make thing on accident would see to it that they couldn't escape an harm anyone else, not just release them into a town, ruined or not. Three times these things have attempted to make a meal out of me, and I could do nothing to sto three times I've been forced to retreat because of them. I haven't seen anything else alive in this place, yet. Just those creatures, and in their mindless aggression I hardly think they count as being 'alive'. Wild animals aren't this vicious.
This place is too dangerous; I'm finding Sakura, and then we're leaving.
