And I didn't drink a single alcoholic beverage.

Had my sonogram today.

It's a boy. So, sometime soon I'll go out and register for gifts and all that jazz.

Four months pregnant. Have my first prenatal visit January 10th. It wouldn't have taken so long if I didn't have to jump through a thousand hoops for Medicaid and then sit on my ass for three weeks waiting to get my medicaid card so I could actually make an appointment ( Read more... )

So, after 2 months of denial and hoping, I went and bought a test.

Sure enough; I'm pregnant.

It feels weird to finally know, and to actually write it out and let other people know.

Biggest step will be telling my parents. And Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner.

Man we're good with timing.

I quit my job on Thursday. And I feel a million times better.

I'm setting up an appointment with this guy Wesley that comes up to my mom's work who wants to help me get my license and quite possibly a job at his salon.

And please don't lecture me about how having a shitty dead-end job is a part of life.
