Wait, I'm confused? I thought Samantha had a box with her?

She pops the trunk and pulls out a large box with Mark’s present in it and slides a smaller box into her jacket pocket, trying not to be obvious about it.

That aside, I dug this chapter. I like the whole showdown angle and all the fam standing there looking. Very cool!

You're right - it sort of disappeared. I've clarified its whereabouts in 15 and also added a little something to the end of this chapter :)

Wooohhhooo ! It's such a stupid thing but I'm kind of obsessed with the "present" angle and I have no idea why. It's always interesting to see what people choose as "gifts."
