Mm, i wasn't actually planning on READING it, but i was looking through my bookshelf today.

I don't...MIND it. I probably will read it again, if it resurfaces. It's a mediocre book, but...the CONCEPT - the whole 'scents' concept, i just think is utterly fantastic.

On the other hand, it is a prime example of Isabelle's 'terrible habit of mixing up names, and putting the wrong names in all the time' obsession/thing. As is 'the stone key', which as i read it for a second time is TRULY god-awful when it comes to name-mixups, and i really want to go through it with a red pen so that the next time i read it i can read it properly.

haha, that happened to me once. I saw a space in my book shelf and went through a mental list of what should have been there, and then had a mad panic because one of my favourite books was missing. But it turns out that the book I had thought I'd lost...was the one I was currently reading and it was sitting on my bedside table...

I blame exam stress :/

BAHAHA, oh well done, that's classic :P I have admittedly had 'where are my glasses' moments, you know how those end.

It's not being read currently, sadly - i'm re-reading 'Stone Key', and being UTTERLY DISGUSTED at how often she mixes up the names of ANYONE AND ANYTHING. Everything from misfits to herders to dolphins to towns get their names mixed up at some point or another.

Of course it would be easier for her if she didn't have characters named Zuria, Duria, Khuria and god know what else-uria. She brings it on herself :P

Oh lordy it was awful...

i thought all the mixups were bad, but then...as they were invading/getting onto Norseland, using the three boats, and one of the boats floated away with Brydda in it - then five minutes later he appears in the cave! Speaks two sentences! And then disappears magically back to his boat-adrift.
