Happy voices
Make bitter hearts
Of those who are alone
Locked in the shells
They had made to guard themselves
Against unfriendly eyes.
Like an innocent clam
One small tragedy is locked
Within its confines.
Pain incases it,
Tears pour over it
Until it shines brilliant
Like a pearl.
Pain made
