Metal walked slowly. He was unable to use most of his speed, and it wore him out quickly with the chip in him. Mini-Robo had been left back with Lucca, but his friend (he still refused to name him) sat on his shoulder, nursing a piece of stale bread as he carried it. When Metal finally reached Jenny, his speech came out as a series of chirps and beeps, vocalizing the binary encode he spoke in.

Great. From the looks of my map we need to head east to get to the hardware store. It's pretty close to the edge of the city.

Metal simply nodded and followed along, occasionally bringing a hand up to his shoulder to scratch his friend behind the ears. He'd wandered most of the city, and knew where to go for a lot of things, but this was Jenny's run. He was content to let her decide the direction and flow of their travels for now, and besides, he could use some supplies himself.
