Forgetting password

I recently changed my LJ password. I do that every year. For some reason, xJournal now forgets my new password when I quit it. Every time I quite, it forgets my new password. Is there a way I can edit preferences manually to make sure it remembers it? I've trashed the preferences. I've uninstalled and reinstalled fresh. Nothing works.

Have you checked what's saved in your keychain? You probably just need to update the stored password there. Look for one called Xjournal:yourusername.

Confirmed. Not working. The keychain seems to forget the change too.

what do you do when the keychain asks for the application password and you give it the correct password but it doesn't accept it as right?

Reset the keychain? Maybe?
