posting regular entries after having post-dated entries

If you have non-backdated posts with dates in the future, LJ prevents you from posting normal non-backdated entries.

Mark your posts-in-the-future as backdated and the problem will go away.

I understand that; the problem is not with LiveJournal. And yes, they are, that is not the problem. Thanks, though.

When you say 'they will not post' - does it return an error? Does this happen with other clients?

It's almost certainly not posting because LiveJournal are refusing it - Xjournal just makes an API request to LiveJournal saying 'post this please', it doesn't check to see if you have posts in the future before doing it.

Yes, it refuses to post and gives me an error. It will only post if I backdate that particular entry. (the others are postdated properly in lj)
I have been really happy with x-journal and have not felt the need for another client. I tried a few others and did not especially like them.

Well, if I post through live journal, the entry does not refuse to post.

Edited because I am an idiot and tensed my verb incorrectly.
