Could Not Log In

XJournal 1.0.6b6 (344) has been running smooth for ages, but this morning I launched it and got an error message saying "Could not log in. Client error: No mode specified".

This is all mysterious to me - might there be anyone out there who can educate me? Thanks in advance!

This just happened to me too, but LJ is in the middle of a code release right now, so that might be affecting things. I would give it an hour or two and see if it fixes itself. :)

From what I've heard that is definitely the cause.

It's not the fault of Xjournal, and it'll affect any client and possibly the web update page too.

Thanks for the clarification; LJ now seems to be allowing XJournal to return to its normal, reliable, rock-solid performance. :-)
