I just finished watching The End of America and I thought it was tremendous. Actually, I wish every American would watch it at least once a year. Out of more than curiosity, does it describe what the United States would be like after monarchy?

Only tangentially. It's mostly concerned with how once free nations devolved into fascist states. The woman who wrote the book/is the feature of the film has broken it down into 10 steps that happen in most modern cases, and has linked that with steps the Bush administration, and administrations before have taken.

It's pretty creepy how similar they are to Stalinist Russia and Nazi German in some cases. Of course, they are also rather general, so it's easy to find examples of it happening in the United States, but she does give good examples, and makes the point that it's not as if 4 of the ten are happening. They are ALL happening.
