We died. Many many times. We didn't complete the mission, but it was still a ton of fun. I'd forgotten how difficult Advanced can be. Next time on L4D, we should play Versus.
Halo seems to be the safest game when you have an indeterminate number of players. It would be great if we knew how many people were commited to a particular night so we could plan for it, but I understand the vagueries of commute traffic and home life can put a strain on such plans.
You are going to love Borderlands, and I am chomping at the bit to play multiplayer on that game.
That's pretty cool. I didn't know you could be in a party and be playing two different games.
Next time you are playing Halo, I should go download something like Tetris. Then I can describe all the action to you as I play.
"Okay, I'm fitting an L block. Oh, crap! An S block! Good, I found a spot. Now a straight piece. Crap, another S block! ANOTHER S-BLOCK?! OH CRUEL FATE!!!"
Fuck advanced! I'm not too proud to say I'm not hardcore enough for that BS.
Of course, it helps when your system hasn't been reduced to the stuttering mess of frame rate that mine was that day. I don't know what was going on but my connection sucked. Especially at the end.
