I broke my six day work week by taking off tonight. I thought I'd be going to Saves the Day but that fell through so I just ended up going to a house show in this kid's basement. I guess for what it was it was pretty cool. Three bands played - Hope is our shield, Blackavar, and the band of the kid who's house it was. I was very pleasantly surprised

holy fucking shit your livejournal looks INTENSE!!!! your profile reads pretty nicely too. for some reason after reading this entry it appears that you are really growing into yourself. you actually do seem alot less obnoxious and less assholish now that you mention it! girls are bitches, you know this, the majority of them will turn their backs on you in an instant.. dont worry about them. start worrying when you hit 30 and havent had a date in 10 years (which would only happen if hell froze over.. seriously). and thats about it.

it makes perfect sense. sometimes i think i do the very same thing in terms of wasting to much energy on negative reactions towards people, which might be part of the reason why i don't really ever get with any girls. I've been working on being positive lately too.

The zine idea has always rolled around in my head too. If you ever wanna start anything up, maybe even if its just a literary zine, i think that would be a really great idea. We're both constantly bored people, and that would really give us something constructive to concentrate our efforts on.

Self-reflection is the key to self-improvement, keep it up man.
