i found a bar about 10 minutes away that plays every nfl game every week on big hd tvs. no more missing steelers games for me! plus its smoke-free.

so, my job rules. in the morning for a few hours i float to different 4th and 5th grade classrooms and help out with math. then i have lunch and do lunch duty. then starting next week in the afternoons i will be pulling small groups of kids that need extra help and get them caught up in math to the rest of their class. im so happy working there ( Read more... )

at the old saybrook middle school helping remedial students with math. 4th and 5th grade, i think. i start tuesday. its only $9.78/hr and only 6.5 hours per day, but thats okay. i might get a second job also. ill write an update once i see how much i like it.

a few days ago. my brother kevin stayed with me for a week and a half and helped me a lot. we had a lot of fun and even went to kennywood. it was rainy so there were no lines which ruled. i rented a uhaul and drove up, unloaded, and unpackec most of my stuff. hopefully i find a job soon. hopefully i meet some people soon. im sure i will. i ( Read more... )

my life just shifted.

so after looking at more school info it seems that it makes more sense to move to CT and live at home and just go to school full time and finish it in a year. the schools up there are easier to get into and/or cheaper than the few down here. so now i need to figure out if i go at the end of the summer, or if i wait till next year. i guess it ( Read more... )
