Please forgive me for neglecting this, I really have thought about updating a million times but just haven't gotten around to it until now

I still don't know what to think about this summer. It came and went and in a way showed me a lot of things about myself my friends. It really made me realize how everyone's lives are heading in different directions and I'm not even sure how I fit into (if I even do at all) the lives of friends I once thought were all I had. Life goes on I guess, and I'm thankful for what I do have and the new friends I have made. i know what you're saying about the summer- regardless that you're a year older than me, it still seems like it was a "searching summer" .. just a summer where it was there for you to lay back and notice the world around you. you think back over things in the past and how different you are now, and you wonder, "why did i do that?" or "why didn't i do more of it?" hmm, i think it was like the summer was an "evaluation period over the summerish time thingy" [i suck with using big words, haha

I can't really explain it but band was something that really made me happy, something I was proud of.
I'm glad that you were able to leave band on such a positive note, because what I wouldn't give to quit right now. The music is terrible, no one knows what marching is, much of the senior class is ridiculously obnoxious now, and overall it is just terrible. Many will attest to this, though I'm sure some people are enjoying it. Actually, we have band camp tonight and I'm sure that will be simply marvelous.
Sorry, I can't stop ranting about this year.

PS. Napoleon Dynamite is the number one movie of my life.
