New Dance Group is where I go! Way cheaper than BDC...but way less classes...because it's used more as a rehearsal studio than a dance studio. It's not as corporate as BDC...private teachers just use New Dance as a space to teach where as BDC hires teachers and they're like BDC teachers. The classes I usually take at NDG are adv beg tap with Lesley Lockery and adv beg theater dance with her sister Patricia. Amazing classes...so are Frank Pietri's jazz classes!

oh that's good to know. it's hard to like make a schedule or try to think of possible classes cause some are so late like 6pm which if you don't live in the city can be a problem. Some don't say like beginner so i only saw a tap and jazz. maybe ill take a class 1 day.
