I haven't been on a real vacation in years. But, recently (er, this summer?) I've discovered that taking day trips to touristy places in the area has adequately created the illusion and feel of a vacation, if only for an afternoon. Granted, I'm lucky to be here in the exciting San Francisco Bay Area, but I've had some great times with just a beach

So this is what you were talking about in the comment to that post? :) I just love the way you tweak your photos, the colors become so vivid and full of life. I love the green of the grass. I hope you make more of these, do some with college :D

I really do want every member to feel welcomed and special. That's actually why I keep the membership moderated. I wanna know every time someone joins, so I can say hi and stuff.
