I don't know how things became so complex. I remember years ago, when my biggest concern was losing a barbie doll or not being able to go out and play. Things like that just seem so unimportant. I just wish that I wasn't so stressed out all the time. It seems like there are always a million ideas in my brain. Today was just wonderful. I mean, ( Read more... )

you are only thinking of the americanized way of using the term 'racist.' in fact, the way her teacher did use it is correct. catholics are just as bad as any other denomination; however, there seems to be no difference between catholics and your everyday cannibal. transubstantiation, my friends . . . ain't it sick?

relax, my friend.

i'm only stating that the term 'racism' is referring to a collection of people, and it doesn't have to apply, solely, to one's skin color. a dictionary is often very helpful . . . no sarcasm intended.

"take it up the A"? come on, man, what does it really matter what i say anyway? have you considered the possibility that joey might be smarter than you think . . . ?

no difference between catholics and cannibals? i beg to differ.. i am a practicing catholic and although im not strong on it, i still feel it right to defend it when it gets verbally bashed. i understand that you, sarah, were saying it to julie and not to your teacher and not to offend anyone. your teacher shouldnt have come right off and called you a racist though, especially considering the fact that you did attend Bishop England and took a class on catholicism and passed it. i just think that because of the fact that shes catholic as well, she thought it right to immediatelly defend herself when there really wasnt any need to since she wasnt clued in on the whole conversation. anywho, now, to the person who went against what kkrizzle said.. you, whoever you are, sound just as bad as any other person bashing a religion or something of the sort comparing us to cannibilism and saying we're just as bad as any other denomination. now, feel free to say that about your religion or whatever you practice but its just as wrong for you to get ( ... )

i will agree with you that my comment may have been in poor taste. let me assure you, i only wanted to see what reply i would get out of it. i got what i was looking for and didn't have to work hard at it. if you are "a practicing catholic and [are] not strong on it", then you are not a catholic at all. a person is not born a christian (or a catholic for that matter), that person must become one. kierkegaard was a rather smart person that one probably won't learn about in a religion class while attending Bishop England -- i should know, for i know bishop england very well. it's a shame father kelly had to die; he was a rather intelligent theologian.

i_got_dr_dre,

"i meant that in the sense that i may not go every sunday" . . .

however, you should remember the third commandment before you call yourself anything of this sort. i guess, maybe, if i murder, covet, and commit every other sin known to christian religion, then i could still call myself a christian, too. in fact, this makes things rather simple: i could consider myself anything and, at the same time, do the complete opposite. this makes for a simple life. sapere aude!

your teacher is a dumbass just because you said you dont like catholics doesnt mean that you are racists. Race is like black, white, red..etc. Your teacher is a dumbass so dont worry about her/him. Just keep to God and he will help you through all of this. I hope that everything works out for you. Goodluck.

You probably dont know me but im from indiana and really i have no clue how i got your name lol but anyways stay strong and things will come through.
