(no subject)
the weather predicted thunderstorms, starting at 11 am. the forecast never changed, but the day stayed sunny, nearly cloudless, and warm. we wanted to do pictures, so we decided to go to the st. croix. i threw some oven chowmein in the crockpot and we set out.
on the way there:

then the sun and the heat got me crabby and i wanted to go home. this is me crabby:
so he drove around a while, being difficult, before he managed to get me cheered up a bit and we went to lake elmo park reserve to walk around a while. here's the pictures from that:

then i came home. talked on the phone with sarah for a bit:

we ate our food, but it took a while. i suck with crockpots. that one time i left, expecting food to be ready when i got home, the pot wasn't plugged in. this time, i accidently turned it to 'off' instead of 'low' before we left. smooooth. but it was delicious. and i've eaten way too much food tonight. so much for all the walking i've done this weekend. lameeeee.
but i think it's bedtime. it still hasn't rained, i don't think, but it's supposed to in a few hours? whatever. i'm just glad that my friday night + saturday were gorgeous so we could get out and enjoy it. hope you all are having a great weekend! gnite.
