Lots of news reports (falsely?) portraying the world around us as perfect! Never show wars, never show crimes, only focus on stupid happy shit like flowers blooming in may and Mrs. Henderson's Cat being returned after missing for a month? :x

Yes, I am tired! Thank you for noticing! xD

A perfect Government is one in which all the people it serves are happy and content.

Citizens don't have to suffer or sacrifice unless they choose to.
Differences amoungst people don't cause problems or don't matter.

To convince your people that you have a perfect government.. You simply have to ask each and every person..

"Are you Happy with your life?"

I think you would show them the problems faced by other people under other governments in the world, problems which your government doesn't have. Also, show problems your people have had in the past, which you have since solved.

Though in my perfect government, everyone would already believe that the government is perfect, because I would have executed all the unbelievers.

Jinyo, I think you've described the perfect despotic government. XD

Just because a government is perfect doesn't mean you have to believe in it, right? It all depends on the meaning of perfect. If perfect means "whatever would make all the people happy", then odds are you can't find any single government form that could be such anyway. It's too easy to find two people who have exactly the opposite belief in how the government should be, that it would force a paradox to be both.

On the other hand, define "perfect" as "conforming exactly to the specification of", and it becomes plausible for a few forms.

(this is what I get for reading other people's friends journals lists ^_^;;)

Lisa, you're in Speckmann's class, huh?

You need to come up with a flag, come up with a song, come up with things to inspire PATRIOTISM in the citizens of the country.

Good luck!

what is perfection anyways? it is, i must say, a conundrum. very twilight zone-ie. however, we already have a perfect government with George W. Bush as our president. how more perfect do you want? Just follow in the footsteps of our great president and you will have the answer to your question. i will give you five dollars if you find out who i am!
