Hard day

So last night little one was up from 3:30-6:30, being generally awake and happy, fussy only when we put him down. He's darn cute, but in the middle of the night, it's not so convenient for him to be awake. He was up for much of the day today, allowing me to put him down for about an hour this afternoon. He's down now. I hope this means he'll sleep

I remember those early days, and trying to breastfeed with Gus having a meltdown because he was ready for some attention. ((hug)) It gets better. I can't tell you when, but I promise it does.

It's really hard to have any two people vying for your attention, but when one of them is pre-verbal and one of them is still developing his sense of humor, I can see it being particularly trying.

Try getting Ben to stock the fridge with ready to eat meals when he comes home? For preference in microwavable one-portion containers or if it's cold food in a container that won't tip if Joshie gets his hands on it? This way you can at least solve one end of the eating/peeing equation while still nursing and child-herding.
