OK so my mom has been hounding me about deciding on what schools i'm deff going to apply to so we can visit. I can't be in her presence for more than 30seconds without...did YOU LOOK AT THOSE SCHOOLS arguement. So here's the list ( Read more... )

roop....i didn't start thinking about college until like october of THIS YEAR!! you're insane

and don't fucking listen to your mom...you can DEF get into NYU..not only can you get in..you can prolly get some hardcore $$$ from them...so fuck what the biatch says..

apply to NYU
do it behind your mom's back if you have to
and don't think guidance counselors are any better because mine told me that binghamton was a reach for me. even though my grades were right on target.
...speaking of binghamton thats definitely enough of a backup for you. if i got in and your grades are like 20x better than mine, so will you. no worries.

omg! roop u def. have to apply to nyu, that school is right on target for u, and they love science girls. even if u dont wanna do science anymore, the fact thta u have done so much science already will make them happy. also, ur mom is retarded. no offense, but thats ridiculous the way she treats u. Cornell, BC and UVa are def. all good schools for u also. im sure u'll get into all of them no problem!

Mucho thnx for the encouragement on NYU. I'm definetly going to apply because I have the grades my moms just not good at the math and thinks that an unweighted A is a 4.0 and not a 3.6.

you totally have to apply to NYU...wow your mom is going crazy haha i didn't start thinking about what colleges to apply to until October as well...I only visited Binghamton (which is where I'm going), Cortland and Albany. Besides that...the other three I applied to I didn't even look at, oops. But yeah, don't let your mom stress you out, the college application is an annoying process but it will be over before you turn around
