Character Notes/History:

Sam Witwicky is a finicky, nerdy, goofy, and reluctant hero of the Transformers movie verse. He’s seventeen years old, worried about his grades, and needs a car. Like, right now. Deciding selling family heirlooms (AKA grandfathers glasses) on eBay is the best course of action in order to come up with the $2000 he needs to give his dad for his car. Like all teenage men, Sam wants something awesome, something that will get the ladies (or one lady in particular) attention. Unfortunately for Sam (or maybe fortunately) he winds up with an old, beat up Camaro that ends up a giant alien robot. Who knew?

First thing Sam does, of course, is take his friend Miles to the lake in an attempt to ‘mingle’ at a party. Miles isn’t sure they are actually invited, but Sam insists it’s public property, so they had every right to be there. They run into Mikaela and Trent, which naturally doesn’t go well. It ends with Miles and Sam getting chased off by Trent, Mikaela dumping Trent, Sam making Miles walk home, and Sam giving Mikaela a ride. Sam attempts to be smooth with Mikaela, but as we all know, most teenage boys at seventeen aren’t that smooth.

Sometime in the middle of that night, Sam’s car starts itself, and disappears. Sam is convinced his car has been stolen, and decides chasing after it on his bike is better then calling the police first and letting them handle it. Good job, Sam. He ends up seeing his car stand up, naturally assumes he is going to die, and leaves his last words on his cell phone. He chases after the car again (he doesn’t learn, obviously), and ends up arrested with his father having to bail him out of jail.

The next morning, bright and early, Sam sees that his car has returned on its own. Naturally, he freaks out, picks up his Chihuahua, and calls Miles, spazzing that “Satan’s Camaro” is stalking him. Miles thinks he’s nuts, of course, so Sam hangs up and flees, this time on his mothers pink bike. Sam, too preoccupied with looking behind him for the car, hits a rut in the pavement, and crashes conveniently in front of Mikaela. Stammering an excuse, he gets back on the bike and flees. He runs into Barricade (aka BADASS ROBOT), who wants the glasses Sam had listed on his ebay page. Lucky for Sam, his car shows up (and so does Mikaela, who followed him) and saves both of them (GET IN. NOW.) A pretty cool car chase followed, accompanied by some pretty cool music, that eventually ended up in Bumblebee and Barricade having a ‘giant droid death match’, while Sam is chased down and pantsed by Frenzy. Mikaela, being of sound mind, finds some sort of mini chainsaw that was conveniently lying around and cuts its head off. Sam, in his infinite wisdom, punts the head, which lands next to Mikaela’s phone

Sam and Mikaela are taken to meet with Optimus Prime and the others (and on the way Bee adopts a nice and shiny new form due to Mikaela’s criticisms), who relate the story of the importance of the glasses, and they also learn of Cybertrons fate due to Megatrons (and the Decepticons) greed, and the All Spark. Sam and Mikaela were taken back to Sam’s house, and told to search for the glasses. In the process, Sam panics, Mikaela rolls her eyes, and the Autobots destroy the lawn. Turns out the glasses are down in the kitchen, but before Sam could turn them over to the Autobots, the good ol boys from Sector Seven (secret government group) show up and arrest them, separating Sam and Mikaela from Sam’s parents.

This, of course, Ends Badly. The Autobots intercept the convoy and took Sam and Mikaela back, but a backup team arrived due to another agent having everything on speakerphone. Prime attempted to hide Sam and Mikaela under a bridge (why he didn’t just toss them in the cab and drive off is beyond me), but the pair nearly fell to their deaths. They were rescued by Bumblebee, but caught again by Sector 7, as was Bumblebee.

They were taken to Hoover Dam, and Simmons attempted to make nice with Sam, but Sam is too pissed to be civil with him, and instead demands info about his car. Tom Banachek tries to bribe him, but Sam comes right back at him with his own demands, which include freeing his parents, car, and eliminating Mikaela’s record. From there, they were taken inside Sector 7s headquarters, and shown Megatron, and the All Spark. Telling them the story Prime told him, he convinces them (with some assistance from Captain Lennox) to release his car, and they are all taken to Mission City, including the rest of the Autobots who met them on the way.

Once they reached Mission City, short wave radios were handed out due to no communications. An F-22 Raptor was spotted, and mistaken for a friendly, but Ironhide recognizes it as Starscream, who fires at them and damages Bumblebee. Bumblebee hands the Cube to Sam, and Lennox ordered Sam to the top of a tall building with pillars in order to be taken out of the city with the cube. Megatron realizes Sam has the cube and goes after him, despite Ratchet and Ironhide covering him. Sam makes it to the rooftop, but his ride was destroyed by Starscream, and poor Sam is cornered by Megatron. Talk about a bad situation. Megatron demands the All Spark, and in exchange he’ll let Sam live to be his pet, but Sam refused, and ends up knocked from the building. Lucky for him, Prime catches him. Prime also tells Sam that should the fight go badly, he is to push the All Spark into his chest. Megatron was pretty strong, and pretty much owned Prime in the fight, and at the instant Sam should have pushed it into Prime’s, he pushes it into Megatrons, successfully killing the Decepticon leader.

Prime extends his thanks to Sam, and Bumblebee (who can suddenly speak) states he wants to stay with Sam, who naturally agrees to this.

Sam really loves his car.

Personality:
Goofy, quirky, prone to random bouts of shouting “No” repeatedly, awkward around girls, generally sweet guy.
