Oh my goodness! What a frightening thing to have happen.

The dog is safe; we had a friend pick her up. Much more than that I don't really know. I'm getting sporadic information from her roommate who's not exactly the best at interpersonal communications. The really shitty part is that we just had to notify her next of kin. Over Facebook, no less.
