I've just come to appreciate Megan Fox a little better from this article, instead of detesting the things I thought she represented. Like really, what was her role in Transformers, other than looking sexy as hell? xD In the article, she complained about how the director focused more on the special effects than the acting, and he completely ( Read more... )

Wow...Michael Bay is a douche lol. "Heh, women, them and their ways aren't they adorable" is essentially what he's saying. He's a man child =P Then again with hollywood it's a lot of separating the actor/ director as a person from their work. Like Christian Bale. Good actor, shouty, sweary person.

Yeah he did kind of give those actors big careers, but it's a bit arrogant to say so. Plus I saw Megan Fox in Two and a Half Men. She was much better in that, though again mostly eye candy, but that was her like purpose in that ep and a point of comedy (ou'd have to see it to accurately get what I mean).

Then again. I demand crazy ass special effects and action from my giant robots, not depth and "art" =P but I agree on principle. I think Beast Wars is the best example of a transformers series mixing action and plot, not to mention surprisingly emotive acting.
