I love the that this piece is dual media - fiction and artwork! I really enjoyed reading about that moment of silent epiphany, when Jim sees Spock's longing and desire and love, and finally they act upon it, first with Vulcan kisses, then with human ones -- their awakening leading to its natural conclusion. LOL see now .. that 'ability to draw hands', as you call it? Or .. the 'ability to draw' at all? When I say that I cannot draw and do not draw, that is not me being facetious or self-effacing or just .. clamoring for compliments, that is me being truthful. So, I really don't know where the inspiration to these images suddenly came from (I haven't felt the urge to sit down and draw anything since I was out of highschool where art classes were mandatory and our teachers MADE us draw and submit!) .. and how I then pulled them off (because .. well .. wanting to draw something and actually doing so? One doesn't immediately follow the other, as I am well aware!) - I'm still stumped to explain that one! Must have been the desperation over my dead laptop .. or something

This is lovely. When you told me you drew I was curious about how you did the Vulcan kisses thing, but seeing the hands in such high detail, and reading the little ficlet that goes with it, well it's such high sensual detail - you really make it hot, in a deep sensual emotional way. I'm really glad I read this cos it actually helped me with my own block on your story! Lol
You did great - even if you did lose your original entry which is a sorry business, the fact that this spurred on this, well, equally good really

Thanks sweets, I am happy that you felt its hotness - to me, Vulcan 'hand porn' really is hot, got a bit of a kink about hands, let me tell ya ;) I'm glad you enjoyed this - the drawings that just .. poured out of me in bouts of great frustration and the writing that I felt I needed to slap around them in order to not 'offend' my usual (writing) muses *chuckles*

As to that original entry (*cries a little for her dead laptop*) - I have about 3000 words of it rewritten and it's coming together quite nicely :) I'll definitely post it up soon (probably tomorrow). So not all was lost.

And you do know that me helping you a it past your writing block is a huge compliment in and as of itself, right? I'm glad my little fluffy .. thing .. was able to manage that :)
