im not a fan of The Promise..they were mediocre at best...and the turmoil breakup spawned the Kiss Of Death...one of the worst bands ive ever heard.

and lickgoldensky was terrible as well.

The Promise is one of those bands that mad people jocked that i could give a fuck about. So they're breaking up, so what? 4 years is the shelf life for a typical hardcore band anyway.

i'm sure they'll spawn more typical bands.
