Just realised this is a week today...

(Cramond really does look like this, honest)

The Island Of Punk 2006

Making a return after 6 years with:

Oi Polloi
Local anarcho-punk legends, going since 1984, and have toured the globe extensively since then. Practically every foreign hardcore kid who comes through town always want to see them, and in the States, bands like Tragedy support them. Their new album Ar Ceol Ar Canan Ar-@-Mach is their best in years. The pioneers of post oi!

In Decades Decline
If you need to ask by now... crushing, metal influenced hardcore, like a Slayerised His Hero Is Gone, or Integrity without the occult fixation. Edinburgh's finest hardcore band ever.

Filthpact
Back from the dead with a new line up, Aberdeen finest exponents of crust-violence- harsh vocals blast beats and raw guitars. Think Nasum, Extreme Noise Terror and Drop Dead.

Happy Spastics
Local pigeon kicking drunk punk rock.

Ben Cozine
Driving, heavy hardcore with a melodic undercurrent. Evolving at a rate of knots, you can detect a Playing Enemy-esque discordant element to their newer material.

The Fight Back
Melodic hardcore, much like Champion, Faded Grey, American Nightmare etc, catchy riffs and raw throated vocals.

Amok Atak
Dual bass grind, a la Morser.

Budd Hokins
Gruff melodic punk from Glasgow, ex/current Atomgeviter, 20 Centuries Of Sleep and Los Destructos
