1) Grant Morrison is my Grant Morrison 2) Being overly brutal isn't a problem re: females it's a problem re: comics are lazy. "I don't like over-done gore because I am a lady" isn't a valid complaint. "I don't like gore because I am reading for a story, not for an explosive autopsy" is. It also makes us sound, you know, 'girly'. Which the powers that be will just laugh at and use against us.
I'm not even a huge Gaiman fan. He's okay, but my ovaries don't sing every time his works and I are in the same room together. (Same with Whedon. Deal with it, Sisters.) Basically, enough with the "hot" writer and the "hot" artist getting every A-list project everywhere all the time.
Period.
Not every talented person is a perfect fit for every property. Besides, other talented people deserve a chance to be in the spotlight, too. Finally, if you really love your hot, brilliant writer/artist, don't burn them out early and risk a huge fan/critical backlash in the bargain.
Well, that's kind of what I was trying to get across with the Morrison bit. I can see how it might be confusing? I just meant 'will read anything with his name on it, pretty much' with the Gaiman comparison.

Oh, sweetie, you so completely do NOT have my number as a fangirl it's startling.
Let's run through this:
I still wear crop tops. Love them. Have no interest in wearing what is in fashion, I wear what I like. I don't even OWN leggings, and have no desire to see them on... Anyone. As a reasonably thin and athletic girl (not trying to sound vain, or anything

First of all, I'm a fairly skinny girl with big boobs. I'm not saying we don't exist, just that there aren't as many of us as comics art would suggest. Besides which, when I'm exercising, I have to wear a sports bra. That makes my boobs look significantly smaller. Basically I was asking for a realistic range of body types

So yes.

Fashion-wise at least.
