Yesterday around 4pm I got truly excited. Nicole walked past me at work and dropped a cd in my hand and kept walking. It's been on constant repeat since. All I need now is a long stretch of interstate and a ska show.

I went to bed last night well at 3:30am, telling myself today would be better.

How can I sleep for 6 hours and wake up to a shit storm?

Maybe since I went to bed so late it really meant tomorrow.

I fucking hope so.

 Reason number 5432 why my friends are rad

When I decide stopping in Tennessee on the way home from New Jersey is a good idea, they agree. We totally rationalize why a 7 hour detour is totally appropriate and worthwhile, because honestly the way things have been going lately for all of us, it is.

Not having to work or wake up or do anything for that matter is a great feeling. I napped on the couch dozing on and off to Jon and Kate plus 8 for a majority of the day. This also included re finding The Impossibles, "Return" album and listening to this intermixed with the DVD of their last show.
