Finally! An update from me :)
Didja miss me?
Thursday (1/4), Scott picked me up around 11. We drove all the way through New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, to South Carolina in one day. We got to his parents' house in North Augusta around 1am! Then we went to bed...we both slept on the couch in their living room, so I got to go to bed with Scott right there, and wake up to him in the morning :)
Friday, we woke up around 7:30. I took a shower and when I got out, three of his sisters (Nicki, Kelly, & Michelle) got there and Kelly's boyfriend (Mike). We had breakfast, then later went to this cathedral called Sacred Heart (like the hospital in Scrubs! haha), downtown Augusta. Scott took pictures but I don't have them yet. Later on, Scott's brother Carl, his sister in law Melissa, and his nephew, Carl Tyler came over so the whole family could celebrate Christmas. We had dinner then we each got stockings with some goodies in them and we played games.
Saturday, the guys and girls sort of split up. Scott, his dad, Carl, and Mike went out with shot guns and shot targets or whatever, Michelle and Kelly went shopping and Nicki, Rachael, and I took Rachael's dog JJ and Scott's dog Lucy to Petsmart and then this pizza place downtown called the Pizza Joint where you can bring your dogs. Then later we went out to dinner to this pizza buffet place called Stevie B's.
Sunday was our last day in South Carolina. I can't remember what we did...
Monday we got up kind of early and left for Florida! Our place was awesome. It was this place: http://www.hiltongrandvacations.com/sea-world-florida-vacations.php We had two different places to stay. Most of Scott's family stayed together, but Scott and I ended up staying with his brother Carl and sister in law, Melissa, along with Carl's friend Mike, his wife Catie, and their baby. We basically just hung out at the hotel. Scott and I went swimming twice that day. It was really, really nice :)
Tuesday we went to Universal's Island of Adventures. It was amazing. The Hulk rollercoaster is seriously the top rollercoaster on my list. Spiderman 3D was really cool. Then there was Dueling Dragons, which was the other coaster there. Jurassic Park was awesome, even though we got wet! Suess Landing was cool...ahh, too much stuff to talk about. The park closed at 6 so after we all went out to Denny's for dinner. That was interesing...I was laughing so hard my face got really, really RED, haha. Scott's family is great :D
Wednesday we went to Univeral Studios. That place was SO cool. We did Shrek 4D, Twister (tornado simulator), Revenge of the Mummy (indoor rollercoaster), Earthquake (you ride on a subway and experience what an earthquake would be like), Jaws (I wasn't too crazy about that), E.T. Adventure(AHHH I'm terrified of him, and I went on the ride, hahaha), Back to the Future (simulator), and Men In Black (you ride through and shoot aliens with a gun).
Thursday, we went back to Islands of Adventures, did stuff we didn't do before. Scott got me and him sweatshirts that say "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" (they're from Dr. Suess's The Cat in the Hat)...they're so cute!
Michelle, Nicki, Scott, and I went on this Popeye ride and we got SOAKED!!! I was the only one on our thing that was screaming. I hate walking around wet, blah. Then we went over to Univeral Studios. We did Terminator 2 (a 3D show)...that was cool. We also saw Fear Factor live...it was kinda lame though. I can't remember anything else. Later on we went mini golfing. They had a bunch of small alligators and you could feed them... Scott's sister Rachael paid for the whole family. I got frustrated/mad/grumpy. Scott and I had a little disagreement/fight/misundertanding, but then we were fine after we talked to eachother.
Friday, we left Florida. On the way home we stopped at Downtown Disney and walked around for a while, then Daytona Beach on walked on the beach.
Saturday, Scott's parents took him and I and his sister Michelle to a plantation. We took a tour of the place but it was freeeezing in the house. Later on we took all the dogs for a walk around the neighborhood.
Sunday, we left for home around 9ish. We got here at about 10:45pm. Scott slept over.
I missed home but I had such a great time on the trip. I'm sooo glad I went. I'm also really happy I got to know Scott's whole family, they're all really great!
I also feel like this trip brought Scott and I even closer :)
I plan on posting some pictures from the trip, but not in this entry...
Monday, we watched the Last Kiss. I was kind of disappointed in it. Scott slept over again, haha :)
Tuesday, my parents came home from Canada. I finally got to see them after almost two weeks.
It was weird going to bed without Scott there. It was also weird waking up without Scott with me. It makes me sad. I can't wait til we live together.
Today was dad's 42nd birthday. We went out to Outback for dinner.
My back is killing me right now, I desperately need to go to bed...it's 1am.
