So I thought about posting this on Facebook, but then again just snacking 50 Shades there is enough. Should you write a parody of 50, would you consider using some of the minor characters from the Xlormp-verse as main characters for this? Or even some of the other main characters for that matter? Perhaps with Christopher? Or Schmeerz? I don't know, you have so many fun characters in this series.

I hope a publisher accepts your proposal. Your work is really good, and deserves to be out in the world.

I think this is a great idea. Parody is a perfectly legitimate genre (hell, Don Quijote did it), and your book is meant to be funny, so I think it may work. You should actually polish it for any uneven-ness that may exist from posting it chpter-by-chapter, and get it published for real! I'd buy it :D

I hope Xlormp gets published, that would be awesome!

I have been playing with the idea of getting a book I wrote published. It's not a parody of anything in particular, but I also tried to do pretty much the opposite of everything that makes me mad with...Certain Popular Books. I'm not sure if the thing is really marketable right now, but I keep telling myself I need to really sit down and edit it, even though I'm a little scared to read it and discover it's actually really bad.

Anyway, your post has encouraged me to at least keep thinking about it. We'll see what happens.

Definitely definitely keep it up! Then we can all say to our friends, "Yeah, I read Xlormp back before it was mainstream. No big deal, I was just way ahead of the curve on this one." Because I'm never the one ahead of the trend, dangit!

Seriously though I know it appeals to non-Twilight readers because my husband has never read or seen Twilight and loved it!
