so at this time US Xpress is moving around current personnel to fill the position that was more or less mine...awesome...but the guy said he'd keep in touch and i'd be the first to know if they have another vacancy...knowing USX, that could be in a month or a year...who knows...i've never been THAT close to having a new job and then not get it...

dude the exact same thing happened to me at usxpress. my mom has a freind who does maintenance there and i was pretty much assured a job alongside him. i filled out about 4 applications, after they "lost" most of them. i waited and waited and eventually the job got handed to some kid that was related to the boss. go figure.
