Summary: Kyuhyun invents a drug that is so powerful it changes your life, one taste and you're hooked.
With Sungmin nowhere in sight and the apartment feeling suddenly too big and too empty Kyuhyun decided to take a shower. Actually he really wanted to go back to sleep but he had to cook up a new batch of E.L.F. drugs. So he reluctantly let go of the idea of crawling back into his large comfortable bed and walked towards the shower.

Donghae and Sungmin were still sitting on the couch; Sungmin was rapidly flipping through the channels.
"Why is there never anything good on TV?" Sungmin asked with a sigh, handing over the remote to Donghae "You choose"
Donghae accepted the challenge and started to flip through the channels.
Sungmin was right, there was absolutely nothing good on the television so Donghae settled on a random drama that was supposedly hilarious, except that is wasn't actually that funny.
Donghae was absorved into the dramity for exactly 2.4 minutes before he decided the apartment was closing in on him.
"I'm going out" Donghae stated, standing up "Do you want to come with?" he asked Sungmin
Sungmin looked up at Donghae and then back to the television screen "No, I think I'm good" he said
"Suit yourself" Donghae said and went to grab his coat and keys, and for some strange reason he also grabbed the Romeo and Juliet book.
Just as he was about to exit Sungmin spoke "Are you coming back tonight?" he asked
"I'm not sure yet" Donghae answered "Are you staying here all night?"
"I'm not sure yet" Sungmin said, turning back to the television "Have fun and be safe!" He yelled as Donghae opened the door.
"I will. Have fun too" Donghae said "Bye"
"Goodbye" Sungmin said right as Donghae closed the door.

Donghae had no particular destination in mind when he decided to leave the apartment. He just needed some air. Hanging out with Sungmin was fun and all but Donghae's mind kept wondering to other things, or more like other people; one person to be exact, one person by the name of Eunhyuk.
Donghae let out a sigh as he continued to wonder around the streets of Seoul. It wasn't too crowded, which Donghae was thankful for. Most people were in school or at work, leaving the usually busy streets almost completely deserted. Donghae liked when the city was like this, it reminded him of his home town.
Little flashed from his past started to play in his mind and he knew he needed to stop them before he had a break down. He spotted a coffee shop a few feet in front of him and decided to duck in for a quick iced coffee.

Kyuhyun was busy in his lab, methodically mixing together the proper ingredients. It was a tedious job. But one tiny slip or mistake and the whole thing could explode. So Kyuhyun systematically, yet very carefully did his work.
Every couple of minutes he would start to think about Sungmin, about his past, about why he ran away. The only thing stopping Kyuhyun from really giving into these thoughts was the fact that his job was rather dangerous.
With a sigh he continued to work.

Donghae sat down at a table, coffee in hand and pulled out his phone. He didn't like to meddle but something about the way Sungmin was acting forced him to do it.
He quickly sent a text to Kyuhyun.
To: Kyuhyun
From: Donghae
Sungmin is at my place
It wasn't long but it held a lot of information, information that Kyuhyun would probably be thankful for. And he was, or at least that's what he got from Kyuhyun's reply.

Kyuhyun had just finished boiling the elements for his pills when his phone buzzed.
He took off his rubber gloves and threw them into the trash before he picked it up. It was a text message from Donghae.
It was short and completely like Donghae.
Kyuhyun smiled for the first time that day. He knew Sungmin was over at Donghae's. He had known that when he woke up to an empty apartment, because even if Sungmin ran away from him, he'd never run away from Donghae.
When they found Donghae he was so broken and damaged and scared that Kyuhyun and Sungmin had promised each other they would never leave him. And they meant it. Kyuhyun would do anything for Donghae, anything the boy asked but Donghae never asked for anything. In fact, the only thing Donghae had asked for was to work for Kyuhyun, and even if both Sungmin and Kyuhyun were against it, Kyuhyun could never deny Donghae anything.
Kyuhyun took a deep breath before he replied to Donghae.
To: Donghae
From: Kyuhyun
Thanks Hae
But I think I just need to give him some space
Kyuhyun sent the text and then put his phone in his pocked and put on a fresh pair of gloves, intent on finishing the new batch of E.L.F. pills tonight.

Donghae had just finished his coffee and was about to stand up to leave when he noticed the Romeo and Juliet book. For a spit second he thought about throwing it in the garbage but then he felt extremely guilty about thinking that. He picked it up with the intent of giving it to Kibum.
With a new destination in mind Donghae exited the coffee shop and headed in the direction of Kibum's apartment building.
He had walked a few yards when he suddenly heard a very familiar voice.
Siwon's voice.
At first Donghae felt tiny surges of joy rush through his veins, he wasn't supposed to contact Siwon but he never said anything about accidental meetings. But before Donghae could fully get excited about a possible quickie in a bathroom, or even better, in Siwon's car he heard another voice.
That voice was Eunhyuk's.
The excitement he had felt before quickly transformed into fear. Fear of being caught, fear of having Siwon and Eunhyuk know about each other, he wasn't sure. But either way he knew he couldn't get caught. So he ducked into the first shop he saw.
Unfortunately for Donghae, Siwon and Eunhyuk both walked into the same shop seconds after him.
"Shit" He cursed under his breath, quickly hiding in an isle filled with printer paper. He should have known better than walking into an office supply store.
Donghae hid his face in a file as Siwon and Eunhyuk walked right past him. And even though his heart was beating a millions times a second, he couldn't help but smile when he heard Siwon complaining.
"I should have known an idiot like you wouldn't have any..." Donghae couldn't hear the rest of the conversation because Siwon and Eunhyuk had walked into another isle. But a part of Donghae felt really happy that Siwon and Eunhyuk didn't get along. He didn't know why, but that fact made him smile wider.
Donghae also didn't know why he was choosing the risk of getting caught, or why he even cared what the two were arguing about, but he did. So Donghae decided to spy on them, in a total non jealous way, obviously.
He crept through the isle with a stealth James Bond would have been proud of. He felt particularly elated when he was standing seven feet away from them without either noticing.
Out of curiosity of why they were being so quiet, Donghae decided to risk looking over at the pair.
He couldn't decide if it was dumb luck or something else when Siwon looked over at the same time.
Their eyes locked and as Donghae saw the shock, confusion, joy and tiny bit of hurt flash in Siwon's eyes he couldn't help but shiver when a rush of pleasure ran down his spine. Maybe it was from being caught, or the fact that he hadn't seen Siwon in a long time, or the fact that Eunhyuk could catch them any second but whatever it was it turned Donghae on.
He put his index finger on his lips, silently telling Siwon not to bring attention to his presence.
Siwon nodded in understanding and smirked when he saw Donghae take his finger off his lips and beckoned him to come closer.
Siwon made up some excuse about going to find some pens as he watched Donghae slip into the next isle from the corner of his eyes. Eunhyuk couldn't care less and told him to meet him at the register when he was done.
And just like that Siwon left Eunhyuk, both of their days getting a little bit better.

Siwon walked casually into the next isle and was assaulted by Donghae's lips. He kissed him back hungrily, like a man deprived of water for too long.
"What are you do...?" Siwon tried to ask when he pulled away for air but Donghae cut off his question with another kiss.
"I have to go" Donghae said pulling away, but unable to follow through with his own words he kissed Siwon again.
Siwon smiled into the kiss and when they pulled away for the second time Siwon asked Donghae a question he knew the younger would answer.
"Meet me later?" he asked and Donghae smiled.
"I shouldn't" he said and watched as Siwon frowned "but nothing could keep me away"
Siwon smiled at the younger's words and pulled him in for another kiss.
Donghae pushed Siwon away slightly "You should go before your friend wonders what happened to you" Donghae said
"He's not my friend" Siwon admitted and Donghae kissed him, smiling into the kiss for some unknown reason.
When they pulled apart Donghae gently pushed Siwon away "I can't be seen with you" he said and turned to walk away but Siwon grabbed his arm to pull him into another kiss but only managed to make Donghae drop the book he was holding.
Siwon bent down to pick it up and furrowed his eyebrows. He had seen the book before, he just couldn't recall where.
He handed the book over to Donghae, with a look of confusion on his face.
"What's wrong?" Donghae asked
"Nothing" Siwon said kissing Donghae on the lips a final time "See you tonight?" he asked
"I can't wait" Donghae said and turned to walk away.
And Siwon stood there thinking about where he'd seen that book before and also wondering why Donghae was skulking out of the store like he had just stolen something.
He shook his head and grabbed a random box of pens before heading to the checkout stand to find Eunhyuk.
