Thank GOD! For a moment there I thought you actually killed Jeff off, and I was going to have to send assassins your way.

Amazing. One of the best AU fics I've ever seen in this fandom :D

Oh you are sneaky!!!!! I thought it was done, Jeff was dead and that was that. Ok, well maybe I had a slight idea in my head that Annie would have turned him, but I didn't think you'd do it!

And hell this was perfect, it was exactly the reaction I would expect for Jeff to have. You are a genius. Now I can rest easy knowing they could potentially be together forever.

This could lead to a one off flash to the future with Jeff being all bad-ass vampire-ey hmm? Please say yes?!

I knew you wouldn't be so cruel to leave it with Jeff dead.

Great story, exciting and dramatic. Will there be more here in this AU?

Oh I was just thinking something like 50 years down the line with both of them looking back over things they'd done (like crazy stuff only vampires could get away with due to their inability to die easily). But I can totally deal with this being the last instalment!

Nah, there was a fic late last year that did something similar, where they were immortal. I can't follow something like that.

Now on the other hand, I have this totally b@tsh!t crazy idea for a story that is so AU that it would be considered as "the author is totally on 'shrooms or has had a psych boric breakdown that made him go through two sets of plate glass."

And sadly, I totally want to write but fear that I'll have no readers and would post in vein.

Thanks for the idea though.

I don't think it's the best, but I really do appreciate the sentiment.

Don't think there's going to be a sequel. Because I've killed all the bad guys and tied up the loose ends.

Thanks for reading, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Great ending to a great story! So glad you didn't actually kill Jeff. And the ending is just uplifting enough to give us hope that they stay together forever. Had such fun reading this. Thanks!

I liked the ending. I like the visual of them both standing at the window, looking out on the street, and then the camera changes and shows his hand taking hers.

There's this instrumental song called "Tears" by Tosihiko Sahashi. The song is really good for that scene. Real low key with a harmonica, and it's one that kinda just inspires a hope for a better day. That, or the song from the show that plays "when someone learns a lesson," but not "Greendale is Where I Belong."

Glad you like the story. I appreciate your reading it.
