I got a raft of papers from Apple via Fedex. It's horrible, there are like 20 things I have to fill out and most of them, as far as I can tell, are pretty much the same thing. Aie. I hope this is worth it ( Read more... )

Avoid Breglia if you can. She's co-teaching my Anth 101 class this semester. She is a new teacher and it shows. Her lectures are, the vast majority, boring, she has no idea how to integrate fielding questions/beginning discussions into her class format, and she shoots down "incorrect" opinions during discussion section. Just say no.

Speaking of V & M, do you know what 117 or higher math class is the easiest?

117 and 118 are definitely the easier version of 121 and 122 (differential and integral calc, respectively). If you got a 4 or 5 on either of the AP Calc exams, you're exempt from needing to take 117/118 or 121/122. I found Multivariable Calc (222) to not be that bad. I'm told 221 is relatively straightforward too.

semley SUCKS. i took this class freshman year. she assigned the DRYEST READING EVER, and the classes were all half-hearted discussions that never went anywhere because she was a total moron about it. just a warning...

Eh, that's too bad to hear. I'll scratch that one off too. Shame, because pre-colonial Africa is so interesting.
