I saw Modest Mouse at the Pines Theater in Northampton with Hannah. It was pretty cool. The theater is a round amphitheater in the middle of a big park. Yeah. Also Northampton is totally crunchy and all the kids at the concert had rebellious clothing and piercings. Well, not really. But it was fun anyway ( Read more... )

"Tiny Cities Made of Ashes" was amazing live although I downloaded the album version today and it's not nearly as good. I'm not really a big Modest Mouse fan so I don't know their stuff that well, I must confess.

Northampton is the crunchiest place I've ever been. I spent a month there a couple summers ago and at night there were always groups of slightly dirty kids hanging around on street corners with guitars and no shirts. It was pretty cool.
