I worked for ESPN for the 2005 Champs Sports Bowl held at the Florida Citrus Bowl. Below are pictures from the game, including an animal that I have never seen before live! (and you might have not either...how's that for a teaser...check it out!!)

The mascot is named CHIP. I can't believe you didn't know that. Every sports fan should be up to date with the Capital One College Mascot Bowl Challenge. Chip was eliminated last year in a tight race that consisted of such mascots as SCRATCH (the Kentucky Wildcat), Big Red (Western Kentucky) and "The Bird" (Airforce)

I belive the finalists this year are "Sam the Minuteman" and Herbie Husker from Nebraska. Unfortunately, Chip was not eligible in this year's tournament since no one knows his name (or because he was thrown off the team since Gary Barnett gave him booster payments)
