Question: Anyone ever taken an MRI? If so, what was it like?

I think I had to get an MRI for my knee once.

They make you lay down and insert you into this cofin-shaped machine looking thing. I had headphones on so they could give me instructions while I was in there and listen to kiis fm to calm my nerves, but it was pretty loud in there. Just a lot of machine-sounding noise, like an engine trying to get its kinks outs.

I was pretty scared, but I was like..13 back then, plus, I'm uber claustrophobic, so I had to redo some of the images for my knee.

Hope that helped.

it's not the most pleasant thing in the world. you're put into this thing that resembles a coffin and it feels like you have been buried alive. then for like..20 mins you hear these loud noises being blasted over your head and you can't move.
it is lame

I had an MRI for my brain. It was relaxing, albeit scary.
