Oh dear. I'm hoping for either:
1 - Erik and Charles are recently together, on the point of engaged, happy... Just one thing. Charles lives like a bumbling and broke professor at a minor, not particularly distinguished college. How was Erik supposed to know he was a billionaire?
Or:
2 - Erik and Charles are together as above, thing is Charles actually is a broke professor. But then a final court decision is announced: and Charles is suddenly a billionaire. It would have helped if he'd told Erik about any of this.In either case, Erik is previously married and has the twins. He was ready for a commitment: he just isn't ready for flashing cameras, paparazzi, toney neighbourhoods and fancy houses, and his kids' sudden rabid enthusiasm for turning into miniature versions of Paris Hilton and chatting with Perez Hilton

What time is love?
No-one really understands how Erik suffers. The horrors of having an adorable, filthy rich cutie (who's put it about with half the student and staff populations of Oxford and Columbia.) It's unspeakable.

Aiiee, slack OP here not keeping track of things! Oh God, how sweet this is, God bless you for filling my prompt! I do adore the twins here, so villainous but adorable too. And you make it so a reader can really feel Erik's pain: oh dear, how he suffers!
But my fave: Secret Silent Conversations! Because, SSC - we've all been there, right? Right?

My heart bleeds for Erik. So reserved, so photogenic. It's an awful combination.
