My theory on the "no more pets" edict (which I have also been issued) is that no one can resist an adorable animal who "followed you home".

I plan to test this theory on Colin when we have a place big enough for a dog. I have a feeling some scrappy little mutt is going to "turn up outside our door looking sad and hungry".
