Well, it was actually two years ago, but who's counting? Hahaha. Also, fake lj, cause not many people know I wrote fanfic at one point, and I decided to get a fake journal to post it on here. Although, reading that again makes me feel all weird. Eeek, bad Viva fanfic. Hahaha.
I have no advice. I'm currently beating my head in over a Teddy/James fic, an Albus Severus/Scorpius fic, the thing I was supposed to write for august_edition, a Boy Meets World fic, and an October Sky fic. Which, apparently, only exists in my head.
*LOTS OF EMOTIONAL SUPPORT* and don't listen to The Decemberists unless you want to start writing epic things about sea captains and corsets.
So first I go to this creative writing class, and it's awesome because it forces me to write every day, and after a while some of the stuff starts to be stuff that I like, and I get my head inflated and then I leave and my drive deflates. I have absolutely no stamina. And I can never have original plotlines, that make sense or that are remotely interesting. You never know how much detail to put into an object, whether it's dragging on or whether it's not enough, and I personally worry about what other people will think about it. And then in the end, I give up hope and stick it into a little corner to paw over and regret.
