These are all to be opened on Christmas (or thereabouts). I'm just posting now because of travel schedules!
Matching robes--big, soft, fluffy, white ones with their initials monogrammed in large, looping letters on the chest. Very obnoxious.
Also in the box is a list printed on elegant stationary from New York's finest home hunting agency. One side of the card lists requirements for a home including amenities such as an indoor pool, state of the art exercise room, nearness to fine restaurants, valet and taxi service, yadda yadda yadda. Basically, anything either of them could wish for. There are only three openings that fit most of the criteria. However, another note says that each of the openings are being held pending their inspection.
For Percy, the box also contains a book that crackles under his fingertips. It is a title from his lost library, in comprable condition, though it does not contain certain handwritten notes in the margins that made his copy priceless.
For Bahir, a black t-shirt with 'E=vil2'in white letters on it, and a bottle of very good scotch. The t-shirt is annoyingly tight. Maybe it's Percy's present after all. ;)
A rather generic, but tasteful and very expensive piece of jewelry from a lesser-known shop (lesser-known only because they do not advertise. Those who should know of them, do.)
A very good bottle of Stark's alcohol of choice delivered with a glass of frosted crystal. It's a tradition.
The first thing in the box is a note. It reads:
Darling. Perhaps we can try again. I saw this, and thought of you.
Beneath the note lies a tantalizing scrap of satin folded within layer after layer of paper-petaled packaging. Drawn from the box, the garment unfolds in a cloud of lustrous silk: woven to a glossy finish, the main body of the garment is a white satin all too easily filled by the mind's eye with Emma's blonde-haired and blue-eyed curves; lighter organza fabric, delicately sheer, drape in a soft fog of fabric, veiling what lies beneath to drive desire even higher. Now, if only Leo had someone to wear it--.
Each pawn receives a present individually selected for them. Most of them are fairly generic, but enjoyable. Zenith gets an anti-gravity chair because Emma's player has a terrible sense of humor.
